If 2016 was the year of the livestream, then 2017 is the year of the podcast. Our #SPSM crew realized we had to talk about this trend when we realized we were talking about our favorite podcasts nearly every day.

Kristin Sunanta Walker is the CEO of a behavioral health technology consulting firm, everythingEHR. She advises mental health agencies on electronic health record technology. She is also the host of the popular podcast Mental Health News Radio which is downloaded in over 170 countries. No topics are off limits when it comes to Mental Health. In February of 2017 she formed Mental Health News Radio Network with the goal of launching and producing up to five new podcasts to cover areas in mental health such as Technology, Addiction and Recovery, Spirituality, Prison systems, First Responders, Music and the Creative Arts, Social Media, and Sports. As of August of 2017 she already has 15 new podcasts in production with another 15 joining this year. In her spare time she volunteers in mental health agencies with her therapy dog Myles.
