People with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) have one of the highest risks of suicide, when compared to other mental health diagnoses, with up to a 10% chance of dying by suicide. Additionally, this mental health disorder is one of the most stigmatized disorders, often most stigmatized by the very clinicians that people rely on to treat them for BPD. This is particularly unfortunate, since getting effective treatment leads to significant improvement for 80% of people who receive it.
