Social media is nimble, interactive, spontaneous…at it’s best, often playful.
And playful may not be a word you associate with suicide prevention. However, it’s the holidays…perhaps the perfect time to “play” with suicide prevention social media.
In that spirit, at last week’s chat we discussed #ProjectClarence. This week is your chance to introduce your own suicide prevention memes. Tonight, 12/8/13 at 9pm CST on #SPSM we’ll be sharing how to DIY, and our own efforts. What makes a good #SPSM meme? How do we make memes others will share? How do we get others engaged with and making their own suicide prevention social media content? How to we move from a “guidelines” orientation to an “effective engagement” orientation?
Some folks in our group are using images and meme generators with “It’s a Wonderful Life” themes. The most classic Christmas movie of all time, that also happens to be about suicide prevention. What do you think? Critical thoughts? Have your own memes to road test? Just want to be a part of it? Come by tonight.
Check out @ProjectClarence, and some of the #ProjectClarence memes below:
